November 7, 2009

The wild turkey is one of the most famous birds in North America! This popularity stems from our tradition of eating the bird for Thanksgiving dinner. However, the turkey running around in the woods and the domestic turkey on our table are not the same. Come out for a hike and facts about the life style of this feathered and famous wild turkey on Saturday, November 7th at 1p at the Grass River Natural Area.  Please register by calling 533.8314.
