You've heard of the 100 mile diet? Eating only food produced within 100 miles of your house. Marie Tribe of Chippewa who teaches at Northern Michigan University. He's leading the Decolonizing Diet Project. Also biologist Scott Herron tells of the most important food for American Indians in the Great Lakes region: wild rice, the food that floats on water.
