Republicans have firm control of state government in Michigan and Democrats are getting restless. Some complain the party is stuck in the past and run by unions.  Now, the Democrat’s longtime party chair, Mark Brewer, faces a challenge from a newcomer who happens to live in Kalkaska County. How can Democrats shake things up and turn the political tide in Michigan?
