While this year has produced huge fruit crops up north, like tart cherries and apples, the jury is still out on the wine grapes. Vintners had something to smile about this week with the constant sunshine and steady warm temperatures. But overall this year, so far has not been one to produce great wines. Lee Lutes from Blackstar Farms says he's still hopeful.
