Ambulances heading for Cheboygan Memorial Hospital this week were redirected to hospitals 30 miles away or more. After a deal with Flint-based McLaren Health Care fell through the 26,000 people living in Cheboygan County have no community hospital. McLaren has no plans to reopen the emergency room or provide any other hospital services. Is this the future of healthcare? That's our discussion this week on Points North.
