Duke Energy announced this week it is done trying to build a wind farm in Benzie and Manistee counties. Duke says there is no market for renewable energy in Michigan right now. But the head of the project says a wind farm will be built there someday. Is Michigan done with renewables? If so, how do we replace the power we now get from burning coal? Utility officials in Traverse City say burning natural gas might be the answer. And what about conservation?
