Some lawmakers say we're not cutting enough trees down in our public forests. The new state budget requires Michigan to increase logging in state forests. Congressman Dan Benishek from the Upper Peninsula says federal land needs to be more accessible to timber companies. But timber isn't worth much in this sluggish economy.
