From Staff Reports

Officials are on the lookout for a man who apparently attempted to abduct a 14-year-old girl earlier today in Grand Traverse County.

The county sheriff’s department says the girl was walking the TART Trail near Three Mile Road and Parsons at about noon when an older man with wrinkles grabbed her and attempted to pull her into the woods. She says she bit his left arm and escaped.

The man may have a bite mark. He is described as white and blond. He was wearing blue jeans, a grey pull over shirt with a breast pocket, and black gloves. He also has a limp and is between 5’10” and 6 feet tall.
