From Staff Reports

A statewide nurse’s union is accusing a northern Michigan lawmaker of calling its female employee the c-word. The Michigan Nurses Association says it happened in the woman’s neighborhood in Lansing, where Frank Foster was attending a party.

Foster, R-Petoskey, denies the incident. He told MLive.com the attack was politically motivated.

The union is currently backing a ballot initiative to protect collective bargaining rights in the state Constitution.

Really??

This seems out of character and highly unlikely. I've never even heard him swear, let alone call somebody a derogatory name like that. He doesn't even have ANY children. It wouldnt be very logical for him to say something about ruining the day of his son with autism. Agree with his politics or not, these accusations just don't make much sense.

Frank Foster and the c-word.

No news here, move along. So a Republican disrespects a woman, a constituent, an American. What else is new? He should be put in stocks on the town square.

Shameful

This is disgusting, even for a politician. Who is his opponent in the fall?

His opponent will likely be

His opponent will likely be Suzanne Shumway. She's a professor at North Central Michigan College. I highly recommend checking out her Facebook page and website.

Yes, it is shameful - especially for a politician!

I agree -- Foster's behavior is DISGUSTING even for a politician. I just read he's a freshman politician -- he won't last if he doesn't have any better common sense than this.
