By Bob Allen

Governor Snyder ordered U.S. Flags to fly at half-staff today (Friday). That’s to honor a marine sergeant from Kingsley killed in action in Afghanistan last week. Services for Staff Sergeant Justin Hansen will take place tomorrow at Kingsley High School.

Hansen was part of a unit operating in Badghis Province. Former State Department official Jack Segal tells Bob Allen that part of Afghanistan has been a flashpoint for invading armies for centuries.
