Two-of-three Northern Michigan Congressional districts favored Rick Santorum to Mitt Romney in yesterday's presidential primary. Delegates from Michigan's 1st and 2nd Congressional Districts will be awarded to Santorum, even though Romney won the state by a narrow margin.

The 1st District, which includes the Upper Peninsula and the Tip of the Mitt, went for Santorum by a margin of more than 2,000 votes.

It was nearly a 10,000 vote victory for the former senator from Pennsylvania in the 2nd District - which runs up the west side of the state from Holland to Ludington.

Romney did win in the 4th District, but by just 640 votes. That district includes Wexford and Missaukee counties and heads south to Shiawassee.
