From Staff Reports

Michigan taxpayers will soon be allowed to pay state income taxes by credit or debit card. The new law was just signed by Governor Rick Snyder. His office says the move will save the state money by reducing costs associated with processing checks.

In 48 other states, taxpayers are allowed to pay with credit cards.
