Cadillac Voters Pass Milfoil Millage

An invasive form of milfoil can establish and take over an inland lake.

Voters in Cadillac have agreed to a half-mill tax increase for the next three years to treat invasive species.

The millage is expected to bring in nearly $130,000 dollars this year.

That money will be used to investigate, treat, manage and eradicate milfoil and other invasive plants and animals.
