Tax Deductions
Besides supporting great radio, your donation to IPR can help lower your tax bill. Your entire gift is deductible as a charitable contribution on your federal tax return. For Michigan residents, those tax benefits are even greater: Gifts to public broadcasting (up to $200 for individuals and $400 if filing jointly) quality for a direct tax credit on your state income tax. Not a tax deduction, but a tax credit-50% of your donation goes right back towards your bottom line! Combined with the federal deduction, that means a $400 gift to IPR may cost less than $100!
Employer Matching
Your employer may match your contribution to Interlochen Public Radio. Use the Employer Match Lookup to see if yours has a matching gift policy. If your employer is eligible, please mail or fax your completed form (obtained from your employer) to Interlochen. Some employers also match gifts made by retirees or spouses.
