 Unemployment in the Great Lakes region is higher than the national average. That's forcing people who have been out of work to look for a "Plan B." Some of those people are being drawn to the shipping industry, despite its uncertain future.

 IPR's Tom Kramer takes us to the Great Lakes Maritime Academy where the next generation of Great Lakes captains and engineers is getting its feet wet.
