Forum on Gay and Lesbian Life in Traverse City

The City of Traverse City Human Rights Commission will hold a Forum on Gay and Lesbian Life in Traverse City on Thursday, November 5th at 7pm in the Northwestern Michigan College Scholars Hall, Room 109.  The Forum Facilitators will be Northwestern Michigan College Professor and Traverse City Record-Eagle columnist Susan Odgers and Northwestern Michigan College Director of Marketing Paul Heaton. The Forum and panel discussions will review gay and lesbian life in Traverse City, including community life (history in Traverse City, mental health, relationships), legal issues (employment, housing, and marriage), and personal experiences (treatment by friends, school, and community).  For further information call 922-4481.
