One of the speakers at this year's festival was a personal friend of Lewis, Walter Hooper. Hooper is an American who became Lewis's secretary. Since his death he has been the literary advisor to the writer's estate. Hooper only knew Lewis for about a decade but when he died Hooper says everything seemed lost.
