Legendary actor Ernest Borgnine died last month. He was 95. Borgnine was best known for roles in “From Here to Eternity,” “Bad Day at Black Rock” and “Marty” for which he won a Best Actor Oscar. Borgnine also had deep Northern Michigan connections late in life. He starred in several films by Traverse City filmmaker Rich Brauer. There's a screening of Brauer's "Frozen Stupid" with Borgnine tonight, August 22, at the Elberta Mushy Peach Film Festival in Waterfront Park at 9 p.m.
