Rufus Snoddy can certainly be called one of Northern Michigan's "usual suspects" in the art world. His work is pervasive in our listening area's galleries and museums. He lives in Williamsburg and lived many of his formative years in Texas and L.A. His work is often about personal history and heritage and never takes itself too seriously. Snoddy says, "It isn't in me to create things without texture."
