Spring is in the air.

March Madness is just building steam as high school basketball teams play for bragging rights and trophies around the state.

But one team in Northern Michigan that has plenty to brag about… may surprise you.

The Cheboygan High School Chess Team earned a fourth place trophy in the recent Michigan Chess Association High School Team Tournament held last month at Oakland University.
