Shortly after ArtPrize was announced, critics emerged from the art's world. In Northern Michigan, Artist Richard Kooyman said he was concerned about some of the rules of the competition. And he questioned whether the public is the best judge of quality and emergent style. ArtPrize Founder Rick DeVos answers critics in this interview with IPR's Brad Aspey.
